Foxhounds prayer

Another 4am start for a five hundred mile round trip on a very wet day proved well worthwhile as The Percy hounds again did extremely well taking four of the six Old English classes, also taking two seconds and the Bitch Hound Championship.

The weather on the journey down to Leicestershire can only be described as appalling, it poured and poured leaving the best downpour until we arrived at the showground. We did begin to wonder if the trip was worthwhile.

Amazingly the sun came out and after a slight delay the ground quickly dried out and the show got under way.

The judges for the day were Mr A Holdsworth (Duke of Beaufort's) and Mr J Nicholson (Dulverton West).

The showground was again immaculate thanks to the hard working committee.

The Old English classes were sponsored by Baily's Hunting Directory : www.bailyshuntingdirectory.com
