Over two hundred people enjoyed the Puppy Show on a warm Saturday afternoon at the kennels on the bank of the River Aln. The judges for the day were Mr David Reynolds a former Master of the Woodland Pytchley and Lady Sarah McCorquodale MFH, Belvoir. A heavy shower at the conclusion of the judging sent everyone scurrying to the marquee for shelter but luckily it was not long before the sun shone again for the speeches and prize giving. 

The results are as follows:-

1st -    Spender walked by the Morris Family
2nd -   Spokesman walked by the Morris Family
3rd -    Landlord walked by Master Harry Entwhistle

Bitches
1st -    Spendthrift walked by the Morris Family
2nd -   Popadom walked by Miss Aimée Straughan
3rd -    Landlady walked by Master Harry Entwhistle

Couples
1st -    Spokesman and Spender walked by the Morris Family
2nd -   Popadom and Popcorn walked by Miss Aimée Straughan
3rd -    Latchit and Lavender walked by Mrs Lynn Walker

The Champion Hound was Spender walked by the Morris Family

Silver spoons were awarded to all the puppy walkers of the 2016 entry to include those not mentioned above, Mrs Emma Howie, Mr Harry Chrisp, Mr Stephen McCarthy, Miss Lisa Brown and Mr David Willie.

Portman walked by the Chrisp Family

Single buttons in the form of a badge for services to the Hunt during the 2015 - 2016 Season were awarded to the following:-
Joan Melrose for all the help in the background she gives to Lady Victoria.
Lisa Brown for her considerable help with the hunt horses.
Chris Newlands for quad bike field mastering duties and general help at the kennels.

Hunt buttons are not normally awarded at the Puppy Show but an exception was made as Alastair Parkin a long time follower of the hunt has moved away but was back visiting for the Puppy Show.

Congratulations go to the Morris Family for their remarkable list of prizes and cups.
